Knowledge Network (knet) understands the need to provide training opportunities to Nationals to enable them to successfully enter the workforce and assist organisations with their emiratisation plans by designing and delivering National Development programmes 'tailor made' to their organisational needs and work practices.

 

Over the last three decades the UAE has witnessed tremendous advances in all social, economic, technological and political fields. Paradoxically however, and despite all the advances, the country is now experiencing an unemployment problem among its increasing young population.

 

Our training and educational frameworks are based on competency models adapted to meet the conditions of the local market. They include a rigourous assessment process that is used to pinpoint precisely skill, knowledge and attitude gaps. The training curriculum is designed after extensive training needs analysis with our clients and their recruits. The training programmes are highly practical, non-academic and skills focused.

 

The Programmes are designed to prepare UAE graduates and school leavers for entry into a variety of occupational sectors. Particular emphasis is given to the development of "Core Competencies" and "Behavioural Competencies". Technical competencies are also developed and work experience is an integral part of the programme.
